Right 6   degrees varus    1VV1 & 1 CW
3 degrees of External Wedges   -     Wider left stance

Kris
Left 0     nuetral                1 CWs -1/8 short spindle
Right 2   degrees varus      2 CWs -1/8 short spindle
3 CWs    -    Superfeet

Left 8       degrees varus       3 CWs 1/2 longer spindle
Right 13   degrees varus       3 CWs 1/2 longer spindle
6 CWs    -    Wider left stance

Total wedges installed = 12 (all varus, 10 CWs & 2 VV1s).
Average number of wedges per person was 4. This is just below the typical average of wedges used in good bike fits.

No one preferred the ITS wedges. We suggest trying both solutions for several fits (probably all fits) and you will be able to see that Cleat Wedges will be the preferred choice by far.

2 of the fits displayed wider left stance width.
Out of 6 feet (3 people) only 2 feet fit on standard width pedals.

Notice the Specialized saddles near the bike – we showed several models of the saddles throughout the class using the "SWITCHIT" which will be available soon. In the meantime if you would like to see the SwitchIT in action now visit Woodinville Bicycle. Mike Rabas the owner of Woodinville Bicycle also visited the class for an hour to talk about bike shop relationships with clinicians. Woodinville Bicycle is a Specialized dealer.

David has not been a customer of ours for all the long, only a few years, but he has certainly taken his job seriously and is becoming noticed. He is also a Retul user who clearly shows us that it is his knowledge that allows him utilizes its benefits.

Both David and the company Retul are customers of BikeFit. We are proud to showcase BikeFit.com customers who themselves are getting a long list of happy customers using our products daily.

Eric Atnip from Lexington recently took our one day class at SlowTwitch.com

http://www.bizlex.com/Articles-c-2010-02-17-91462.113117_Working_couple_tap_endurance_to_set_up_triathlon_shop.html

Eric recently attended a F.I.S.T workshop and stayed an additional day for BikeFit’s education on the Foot/Pedal interface. Being F.I.S.T certified alone does not include cleat adjustments and assessment of the feet. Eric is one of the few to have both the F.I.S.T and BikeFit’s combined education. If you are in Kentucky this place offers a complete bike fit. Read about the new shop opening.

Who is that?

On my way to Des Moines Iowa for some bike fit education training I had a very brief layover in Denver. I was able to get in a quick hello to long time friend and former competitor Nelson Vails. Nelson and I go way back. He walked me on the plane and talked the flight attendant into offering me a first class seat....about time I might add :-)

Here is a photo just prior to boarding.
Here is one of Nelson in the day – 1984 Olympic Silver Medalist

Training in Arkansas - Not just cold ...

Today BikeFit.com is kicking off their first blog entry from right here in Fayettville, AR. This weekend BikeFit Pro Eduction was hosted by Andres Angulo of Advanced Cycling. New BikeFit Pros as of today are Andres, Branton Moore both of Fayetteville and Michael Irwin from Kansas City, KS. Andrew Weber, Director of International Sales for BikeFit.com assisted with the training.

Here is the group pictured below.

The weekend was filled with continuous bike fits from 8am to 8pm. We had some of the most interesting and challenging fits during this week-end's instruction. A new record was achieved for BikeFit with Speedplay pedals. Six of the 7 cyclists fit this past weekend needed different spindle lengths. Pedal spindle length options are something ONLY Speedplay offers and is often the only option for cyclists needing increased or decreased stance width. If you are a fitter and you do not have the Speedplay Pedal kit you are missing something very special.

Topping the Speedplay odds was stem length needs/changes. ALL 7 cyclists left with shorter stems, making us wonder what the bike manufactures have in mind when they design and equip bikes.

The first day of training was such a success that on the second day Andres received many more requests from people hoping to get a bike fit. Word is spreading fast about the BikeFit Pros in Fayetteville. If you are in the area and would like a fit I feel you will be in very good hands with these BikeFit Pros. Look them up and schedule your fit today.

Those of you racing or planning on racing in Arkansas be aware of the newly fitted and faster individuals from the Tyson Cycling Team ... Debra Dunn, Bruce Dunn, Wade Colwell, Phuong Mueller, Dori Hornbaker, John Mikesch and Adrian Balsara from the Mercy Cycling Team.

This training marked another Specialized dealer choosing BikeFit.com for education. Branton works for High Roller a Specialized dealer in Fayetterville.

Occupational Therapist Assistant Michael joined many other therapists/clinicians adding BikeFitting to their credentials. Health Care Professionals are BikeFit.coms fasted growing segment in the bike fit world surpassing Bike Shops and coaches participating with more education.
