Hey guys, it would be even cooler if you took a few minutes to say WHY you thought these links you are posting are cool or what the take-away from each story is or what you learned from this, etc., etc. I'm reading your blog to learn from YOU and not just to read stories from others...
ReplyDeleteMartin, each fit has a different story and while it is approached in the same fashion and the outcome is always for the best. John was a mess on the bike, even if he looked pretty dialed in. His saddle told me that he was not balanced on the bike and that there was a leg length discrepancy. He has a drop right hip and a longer right leg. His feet measure 7/8 degrees of valgus on the left and about 14/15 on the right! While intuition told me I needed to address the shorter leg to balance things out, the reality was that the right hip needed to be brought up to be even with the left one (Paul thanks for the trick). While John still does not feel 100% on the bike for other reasons he is now better connected than ever.
